WEB-TV SET-UP HELP

This tutorial will quickly help you get connected to the internet via CresComm InterNET when using WebTV. If you need further assistance please call 800-562-8064 or email us at support@crescomm.net with your questions.
 

What you need to get started:

1. An Raw Access account with CresComm InterNET
2. Your dial-up username
3. Your password
4. Your local access number

WebTV Setup
Once you connect to the WebTV Network through your normal connection, click on the 'Setup' button located on the left side of the screen. This will take you to the WebTV Control Panel.

From the WebTV setup screen, select the option in the upper-right labeled 'Dialing - Connecting to WebTV'.

On the WebTV Dialing Options screen, select 'Use your ISP' from the lower-left corner of the screen.

Click 'Continue'.

Click 'Continue'.

Click 'Continue'.

On this screen, begin by checking the box on the top of the screen to begin filling in options.

Service Provider Name: CresComm InterNET

User Name: Type in your dial-up user name. CresComm InterNET user names are in the form of an email address. This is most likely your first email address.

Password: Your Password
Modem dial-in number: enter the number your computer will be dialing to access the Internet. Enter the same number in the 'Backup dial-in number' field, then click 'Done'.

Your setup is now complete- please click 'Continue' to connect to CresComm InterNET.
